We can all remember when Joe Gibbs Racing left These past few weeks have witnessed some great action at the craftsman truck series. Time is about to run out on the 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season and there are many racers that need to play catch-up in order to win. Competition is only going to intensify as the car racing / truck racing season kicks into its final weeks. What’s left to be seen is how the Georgia 200 and Chevy Silverado 350K will play out.
Ron Hornaday Jr. lead the pack of car racing champions at the Kroger 200 at Martinsville, however persisting fuel problems led him to run out of fuel during the race. Which open up an opportunity for Johnny Benson to take the lead, and end up wining the car racing race. Its unfortunate for Ron Hornaday Jr. as fuel efficiency problems has caused him to drop 65 points behind Johnny Benson, currently leading the pack of car racing champs. For a lot of Ron Hornaday Jr. fans falling to no.29 position during the race was a big disappointment.
What we need to see now is if Ron Hornaday can sort out his persisting fuel efficiency problems and take the lead during the Georgia 200 and later the Chevy Silverado 350K. Ron Hornaday is an excellent car racer who has recently been haunted by persisting fuel problems which for some reason, he and his team haven’t been able to sort out. It looks difficult for Hornaday if these problems cant be sorted out, according to him, he is preparing his car for the Georgia 200 and hopefully workout all the kinks in his fuel system.
This look great for Johnny Benson as he leads the pack by 3,178 points, shortly followed by Ron Hornaday Jr who tails by 65 points and currently has 3,113 points. In third position we have M. Crafton 2,951 points. Things still aren’t said and done for these 3 car racing champs, as they are still two more races to go before the season ends.
Kyle Busch
This hasn’t been a very good season for Kyle Busch. Kyle Busch isn’t even in the top 10 which is surprising. Kyle Busch managed to finish the Kroger 200 in fourth position. However if anything we were expecting Kyle Busch to at least stay in the top 10, as he so stunningly kicked off the season by coming in third place during the Chevy Silverado 250. Kyle Busch later followed by coming in first at the San Bernardino Country 200. His win at Atlanta came at no surprise, since he was doing so great. However he wasn’t able to keep up his winning ways throughout the season. Kyle Busch still a rookie by comparison, needs a bit of more experience before he can rank in with the big boys.
We will be keeping an eye out for Kyle Busch during the Georgia 200 and the Chevy Silverado 350K car racing. We are eager to see if he is able to redo what he did at the start of the season.
